How it works

Common questions

“Next Sub In” went past zero and turned red. That is deliberate. Once a shift runs over the maximum you set, the timer keeps counting up and keeps flashing until you actually make a substitution — a missed sub should stay visible, not quietly reset.

The quarter ended but the sub timer did not reset. Also deliberate. The same five are still on court, so the substitution is still owed. It pauses with the clock and carries on when you start the next period. Only a real substitution resets it.

How do I start a new game? When the last period finishes, a Start a new game button appears under “Game over”. It clears the game and returns to period 1 with your roster intact.

Can I change the game format or shift length? Yes — open Game format & max shift on the game screen. Changing either restarts the current cycle.

I have more than one team. Tap the team name at the top to switch, add, rename or delete teams.

Do I need an account or a connection? No to both. There is nothing to sign up for, and the app works offline.

Where is my data? On your device. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what the app does and does not send.
